Gesaeuse Partners
As of 2006, we have been establishing a network of National Park partner businesses uniting different industries in a network of partners. It features agricultural direct marketers, restaurants, excursion providers, commercial businesses, associations and leading companies located in the region. Partner businesses are interested in cooperating (instead of operating as lone wolves) while giving their full support to the values of the National Park.
In 2017, the National Park partner businesses and the partner businesses of the adjacent “Styrian Eisenwurzen Nature & Geopark” joined forces to form the Gesäuse Partner Businesses Network. Since then, the Gesäuse Tourism Association has also been on board as a licensor for the regional Gesäuse umbrella brand.
Gesäuse partners are committed to regionalism and sustainability meeting strict quality criteria. The partners’ identity is linked with the issue of appreciation: appreciation for the region, nature preservation, people and their identity. The network thrives when the partners feel a sense of belonging to the network and actively shape life in the region on a daily basis. They are all linked by a common, positive idea for the future.
