Wildalpen SpringWater Museum

Those interested in following the path of the Viennese water supply from inside the mountain to the tap should definitely pay the Wildalpen SpringWater Museum a visit. Visiting one of the largest karst springs in Central Europe, namely the enormous Kläffer spring, is a remarkable experience (located at B24, approx. 13 km towards Weichselboden). To name other activities, visitors can explore Wildalpen and its history at the Local History and Parish Museum and attend an exhibition on wood and water to learn about Vienna’s Spring Protection Forests (Quellschutzwälder). To complete the day, interested visitors will find temporary exhibitions as an additional highlight.
